Taking a class at Durham Spirits is a wonderful experience. There are always a wide variety of recipes used for the class topic, so lots of hands on. Katie does a fantastic job of leading us through with great directions and support. Having the opportunity to sit with your "cookmates" and share the meal prepared is the capper to the experience. We just went to our fifth session; love them all; highly recommend you try Durham Spirits.
This was an awesome experience! Purchased a couples class for my husband's birthday. This class was "Beer to Eternity". Every dish incorporated beer into the recipe. The food was delicious and the experience was memorable! If you're looking for a unique gift idea, a couples date, or a friend's group event, you will NOT be disappointed!! Katie, the chef is; professional, personable, creative, organized, talented, and a fabulous chef! Highly recommended!!!
I just got home from a FANTASTIC evening learning about, cooking and eating some AMAZING Morrocan food. Katie was terrific, patient and very knowledgeable. We will definitely sign up again. What a great evening!!!

We loved the Summer Tapas Cooking Class! We learned so much! The atmosphere was laid back and the experience was hands on! Chef Katie is so talented and a great teacher! What an amazing experience!!
We had such a blast... can't wait to do it again! We learned so much and even though I like to think of myself as a chef... it opened my eyes to new possibilities... I am very picky on fish and we created a fish dish that was cooked on the grill in banana leaves and it was amazing! I'm coming back! And I gave someone a gift certificate for Christmas!
