About this business

We are a Pediatric Clinic providing Urgent Care, Primary Care and consulting pediatric services, located at the Whitby Mall. ALL URGENT CARE appointments are booked online on our website. The website opens at 7am for same day appointments. Please do not book wellchecks or vaccines on our urgent care schedule. We provide care for pediatric patients, from newborn to age 17. Our staff take a whole child approach, not just the specific problem, so our visits are longer. Thus, you may have to wait a bit longer to be seen. Longer ... read more

My daughter had an appointment at the clinic which was referred by my family physician the stuff and the receptionist were really nice and polite but when it came time to meet with the doctor Mandel she was so on your face and almost as if she has hired me to disrespect me and tell me what’s right and what’s wrong I went to see her for my daughter she made me feel like I am the worst parent on this planet. She has no bedside manners very rude has no respect when speaking to parents and I have never met anyone who’s in a prof... read more

Nurse Practitioner was extremely unprofessional. Very disengaged in communicating, failed to answer our questions and failed to provide any elaborative answers upon asking follow up questions. Seemed to lack any care and interest in providing patient care to our 6 week old. Clinic is poorly maintained and unsanitary. Some additional funding needs to be allocated to this program to ensure all children and newborns who enter this facility do so to ensure the best possible care can be provided. Overall Very disappointed with th... read more

I’d like to clarify that I did not walk in requesting a family doctor appointment. I came in to request an appointment for basic immunization for my child — a public health service that every resident in this country is entitled to. I was not seeking to be assigned to a family doctor. You verbally mentioned that a clinic in Ajax was accepting new patients, but you did not provide a formal referral. If this is truly a matter of regional public health limitations in Durham, as you suggested, then I encourage you to forward thi... read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I’ve called my family doctor to never , EVER refer children to this clinic. Dr. Karen treated us like we were scum for not masking my toddler (who just turned 4 and is NOT sick). my child suffers from anxiety and breathing spells which is why we were referred there. Her behaviour towards us was disturbing. Standing in the hallway and saying she is refusing to have a conversation with people like me…. That’s quite an insinuation!!! We have documented evidence of the EXTREME anxie... read more

If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would. While the nurses and reception staff are generally polite, the experience with some of the doctors has been extremely disappointing. Certain physicians here come across as condescending, delivering repetitive and unhelpful lectures rather than genuine medical advice. They believe they're above every other pediatric clinic in the city. What’s worse, this clinic seems stuck in the past, still enforcing outdated COVID-era policies like mandatory masks for toddlers — something I h... read more
