Please do not go by the reviews which have been posted by folks who have nothing else to do but complain about every possible thing.. the staff and the doctors here are AMAZING! .. our toddler went in.. there was about 10-15 minutes wait.. had his vitals checked very carefully to ensure toddlers don't get upset.. the doctor checked giving ample time.. answered all questions and did not want to give any medication because it wasn't any chest congestion and it was local.. it builds up the immune system.. I could give it 0 stars if possible. My child was misdiagnosed twice in the clinic and we only received proper treatment after going to the hospital both times. Not to mention the doctor/nurses are all impatient and condescending- not suitable for the paediatrics field.
I have to say that after reading the reviews on here, I was apprehensive about my daughter's appointment but we had a great experience. I met with Dr. Mandel. She listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. She was extremely thorough and even provided helpful suggestions regarding my daughter's overall development, not just about the reason for the visit. Dr. Mandel's clinical abilities and knowledge is very good, I'd say probably one of the best in the GTA. Her bedside manners and soft skills are atrocious! She is condescending, treats you like she is superior than you and makes you feel you are lucky to be there in her presence. You have two choices: deal with her to get great medical care for your child and be treated in a borderline offensive manner, or find another good doctor and be treated nicely.
