Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced...Durfee is the best!
The plumber for people with more money than brains? Don’t understand the positive reviews this company is getting…1/4 turn valve leaked and needed to be replaced. It was easy to access and a straightforward job. Quoted priced was $815! I paid the $149 “dispatch fee” and passed on the repair. Another company was on-site for less than 45 minutes and replaced the valve without any issues for about 1/3 the price—without any dispatch fee. Buyer beware!
About 5 years ago Durfee helped me when I needed a total bathroom replacement. They did a fantastic job and they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. A couple of years ago, I needed my water heater replaced and I reached out a couple of times. Only got automated responses when I call and never heard back. I called Durfee yesterday to have air bled out of my pipes. I have been waiting since June 27 for my estimate after paying $500. About a month ago, the owner replied to my review and said that they would call me. I still have not received any phone call. Frustrated!
On June 27th, Tyler came to my home and looked at the neutralizer for my well which needed replacement. He assured me that I would have an estimate very soon. I paid $500 on that day and have not heard a word since . I have called over 10 times and even left a letter on one of your truck’s windows at your office as well as mailing a letter. That was over two months ago and still not a word.
