I can't believe the others are talking about the same doctor. Dr. Durrell (and my OT & psychologist) have saved my life!!! The Polyclinic doesn't allow you to just "get meds." They approach chronic pain & illness as a whole body issue. They are in contact with my other specialists and have gotten me from being seen 1-3x weekly at the ER to twice in the last 6 months. I used to go to dr Durrell at the Indy polyclinic. Each appointment he averaged about 5 to 10 minutes total and he never examined me. He just wrote scripts. I am disabled with chronic pain from osteoarthritis. I completely agree he is only in it for the money. Hundreds of patients go through there everyday and he sees about 95% of them. He changed my scripts constantly to keep me coming back for more appointments. He prescribed me khlonopin (sp.)? and I didn't know it was addictive. I actually rate this place a -100! It's just another doctor trying to get rich off people who have a legitimate medical issue. These doctors are the reason this country has a heroin epidemic at this present time. There is not one thing ethical about charging a patient $1500 to get into a suboxone program because they want to better themselves. All the doctors and staff at the polyclinic should be ashamed in themselves for treating people in such a disgusting manner. Don't go here!!! I wonder if they charge diabetics the same... read more
