Do not buy for saltwater. Misleading marketing.The website claims these locks use "marine-grade materials," which makes you think they are safe for the ocean. However, the fine print excludes saltwater, and they suppress any reviews lower than 5 stars on their website. Mine completely seized up and rusted out in less than 6 weeks. I had to cut it off my boat with a hacksaw. Customer support refused to do anything to help. Save your money and buy a titanium lock instead.
I ordered the Swivel Mount Lock For RAM® for my boat. Customer service was very responsive to ensure I orderd the right lock. Lock arrived quickly. Easy installation and it seems like a good option to discourage the random "lifter" from stealing my Lowrance fish finder. Very happy with the product.
