Doctors in Durango suck. I will NOT be making an appointment because this time I read the reviews first
Made an appointment with this ENT. She stated we should get a referral. OK not a problem. Our insurance BCBS does not require a referral. Mentioned my son also has medicaid. They don't take medicaid. OK no problem they are in network with BCBS. No the now refuse to see him stating they don't take medicaid. I was worried already with all the bad reviews on line but we just need his nose carterized due to the vein busting open from a car accident. I was a bit hesitant to schedule due to some of these reviews, but I have been seeking answers for a progressively worsening breathing issue for quite some time now with no direction from another local ENT, pulmonologist, and a long list of other providers. Dr. Wiley is a straight shooter. Some prefer warm and fuzzy, but I just want someone competent that can give me answers. I was seen for constantly clearing my throat. He spent most of the visit discussing my "poor overall health condition". I did have 25% blockage of a coronary artery which has been adressed by a cardiologist. My latest visit to Mercy cardiology resulted in a positive assesment with a resting heart rate of 61 bpm and unremarkable ECG. My cardiologist said my heart rate was excellent. My BP was 117/60 also quite good. I do 30 minutes of cardio 4x weekly at my gym and have no excercise intolerance. My BMI is considered excellent... read more
