I have banked with DuPont for MANY years as well as my husband. I have never in my life had someone be so rude and arrogant than this location. After dealing with a home flood, and being told they can not deposit my check due to a word in the endorsement from a MORTGAGE COMPANY…. but easily deposited the one my husband took in with no issues with the same wording on the back of the check. I have worked in customer service the majority of my life- and apparently their employees need a lot of coaching efforts.
Transferred money to pay my credit card off and then right after that got charged interest and they wouldn’t take it off not good customer service
If I could give this company zero stars I would. I recently went through a hardship and explained everything to them as calm as I could. While still being talked to in a very condescending manner by Carol Shaffer, I kept my cool. She didn’t seem sympathetic, helpful or even cared. She immediately wanted to transfer me to someone else.
