The place is amazing, very peaceful and relaxing, right in front of the bay, which makes the view stunning both during the day and at night. We ordered three different sushi rolls. They were good overall, but I wasn’t a fan of the excessive use of spicy ingredients, such as spicy tuna and spicy jalapeño. I came here during memorial day weekend and it was a great experience. The food- I've never had blistered shishito peppers before but they were very yummy, I just wish the sauce was presented in more of a dipping format than drizzled over it. I shared the Kai Koa sushi roll with my husband and it was not very good. I would not recommend that roll again, 3/10. We came here for the weekend brunch and had a good experience overall. The location is definitely one of the highlights—it’s right by the beach, so it’s nice to take a walk along the coast after your meal. The food was good, with a decent variety, and everything we tried was enjoyable. Nothing was particularly outstanding, but everything was prepared well. The atmosphere was pleasant, and overall it was a nice place for a relaxing weekend brunch by the ocean.
Great dinner at Oceana Coastal Kitchen within the Catamaran Resort in Pacific Beach! Beautiful ocean views and lovely interior with a cool aquarium.we enjoyed the seared scallops, pork chop, and salmon citrus sushi roll. The service was excellent, friendly, and accommodating. Dog friendly outdoor patio. Recommend!
We had several meals at Oceana, including their weekend brunch, regular breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The brunch menu included some fantastic options not regularly available weekdays. The dinner menu featured excellent sushi, salads, entrees and desserts. I highly recommend the miso butterscotch crème brûlée! Adam was an excellent waiter and anticipated our parties needs with ease. Their mocktail options were delicious. Overall we enjoyed our meals here and would definitely recommend!
