My complaint is about the mistreatment, unprofessionalism, and lack of skill exhibited by Dr. **** Gallagher, Dr. ***** Agnich, and Melissa (the bookkeeper) at DuPage Podiatry Center in Woodridge, IL. My relationship with this office started on December 15, 2014 when I brought in my 10-year old daughter Sophia, after badly hurting one of her toes during an accident. The same thing happened to me! Rude billing clerk who hung up on me when questioning her. I would also advise avoiding this office although I really liked the doctor.
I was satisfied with my medical care. The problem stems from unethical billing practices. Specifically, my last visit with Dr ****** was two years ago and after two years, I received a cryptic hand-written bill in the mail. The untimely nature of the bill called into question (at least in my mind) its validity and accuracy. The bill was difficult to understand and my calls to the billing clerk ended up in rude responses and "hang ups" on the part of the billing clerk.
