I sure wished I had read all of your reviews prior to calling Kevin. He has had my lawn mower and snow blower for nearly two weeks (which is nothing compared to what I have just read but its still early) without a call back. He promised one week and now I am desperately needing to cut my grass. Now his voicemails mailbox is full. I only needed him to perform tune ups for both of the machines. This is aggravating.
Check BBB for another similar and recent review as mine. Kevin can not be trusted for one word that comes out of his mouth. My landscaper dropped of my riding mower to Kevin the first week of May. After 3 weeks Kevin told me he didn't realize the mower was at his shop. Ok. After several calls to Kevin, both from me and my landscaper, promises and truly he used the word "guarantee" he would get me my mower back on several dates that came and went. This DuPage Outdoor Power/picked up my lawnmower on March 27 to just be tuned up. They have had my lawn more for now 2+ months! They have never returned one phone call to which I called him/Kevin everyday...they moved to Batavia to which I do not know where they are located and I had to hire landscapers at the note of $200 to cut my grass since they’ve had my lawnmower. Purchase a used mower from Kevin ******* but it had a damaged throttle, carburetor and a well hidden torn chassis. Two days later Kevin ******* refused a refund claiming that I did all that damage and it was my responsibility. The day after I bought this mower and tried to mow for a short distance it ran so slow that it wouldn't cut the grass. I took it back and Kevin bent the throttle that was in idle position and told me to move that back and forth to get the engine to work harder. He said I must have rammed into something... read more
