It’s a lovely café with great food and atmosphere. My only drawback is the very limited schedule. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., even on weekends, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. I’d visit much more often if they had longer or more flexible hours.
I keep hearing people rave about their ice cream cakes so I decided to give it a try. I got the pistachio raspberry and it was honestly way too sweet. I read the comments prior and majority of the people said they like their cakes because it’s not overly sweet but this one was pretty sweet imo and the flavour combo just didn’t work. Maybe go for a safer option would have been a better option.
The tofu ice-cream is indeed tasty, however the staff would not clean the tables and throw out garbage, I clean the table myself (twice), which makes the experience much less enjoyed.
This is a social cafe and not made fr remote workers looking for a coffee sho to hammer some work done, food is good, drink is good but no wifi(right?!?!?) No plugs (only 2 tables) this is meant for conversations and socials so if that's what you are looking for then this place is good.
The food itself has always been something we enjoy. However, one thing we have had difficulty understanding is the attitude and communication from most of the staff, especially when dealing with the male staff member. We always try to speak politely and clearly, but most often the response has felt very cold and, at times, quite rude.
