A tree fell on our power line and ripped our electrical panel off the side of the house. After calling about 10 electricians, Nick was the only one available to come out on the same day. Even though it was a Friday, he really hustled to get us an emergency permit and drove all around town to get the parts needed to replace our electrical panel. He worked with PG&E to get our power reconnected and worked with the county on our inspections. He even made sure that our water heater was grounded in preparation for our inspection.... read more
Our AC unit was not starting up (during a week where temperatures were all 100 deg+) due to the unit not getting power. Called Dunn Electric late afternoon and Nick was able to get out to our house the next morning to diagnose and repair / replace the faulty wiring to get our AC back up and running! Nick was responsive, professional, was able to show where and why there was a problem, and explained what he was doing in order to fix it. Would definitely recommend and use his services again.

Nick at Dunn Electric replaced and upgraded my electrical service from 100 amps to 200 amps. A 30 amp generator disconnect was also installed. All the components he used for the work were good quality. He was always on time and respectful. Nick also took on the responsibilities of pulling permits and facilitating the PG&E/county communications which makes the project less stressfull. If you need a quality electrician, Nick Dunn is your guy.
Our master bedroom outlets were not working. Called Nick and he was quick to get us on his schedule. He was very thorough fixing the problem caused by a short circuit in our exterior irrigation controller (go figure). Anyway, we are happy to have everything back in working order. We've had other electricians "fix" this problem, but I am pretty confident we will not have to address this one again now.
