A relaxing place for a drink When Dunlay's on the Square first opened a few years ago, I really disliked it. The atmosphere felt exactly like the Lincoln Park location, which was staggeringly out of place in Logan Square. The waitresses with bleached blonde hair creeped me out and the food didn't really impress me. Fast forward several months, when I agreed to meet some friends there. Boy was I surprised at the change! The waitresses had been replaced with local, more-hip residents, and the food somehow tasted better too. No... read more
Go for the late night Dunlays is a pretty good restaurant but the real deal is the late night menu where some of their most popular items are pretty discounted--if you come after 10 you can get an excellent pizza for 6 dollars, and their delicious cookie dessert for 5 dollars. I usually love it here but I'm taking off one star because once I had a not-so-great omelet for brunch. Burgers are also generally great and I think on Wednesday they have them for 5 dollars all day (but it might be Tuesday?) Regardless, they have a lo... read more

You better have an entire day to waste on lunch.... – A couple of us went to Dunlays for a late-ish lunch on Sunday--after the lunch rush. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer, the ever so complicated and involved preparation of chips and spinach artichoke dip and another 30 minutes for our entrees, which were equally involved: a cheeseburger and a club sandwich. best ever! – i love dunlays! they have the nicest waitreses and the food is exelint. every time iv gone iv been satisfied. the ribs and the garlic mashed poetatoes are exelint. the ceaser salad is divine. and best of all they have a kids menu with food kids like to eat so it is a good family resturaunt
Have you been there yet?? – It's perfect! The food is wonderful, staff is friendly, the restaurant itself is gorgeous! We love this place and highly reccommend it to anyone! Brunch is AMAZING!! The fried egg sandwich is out of this world!
