I just want to take a minute to recognize the amazing staff at the dunkin donuts on zion street in cornelius nc. Most of the staff appear to be younger adults and high school students. They give great customer service. They are always polite and they communicate well with each other when it gets busy. And this store does get busy. These kids work! Can't speak to the customer service, as I walked in and right out. This store is filthy... Floors littered with trash and spills. If this is what the customer sees I don't even want to see the back of the house.
I love this Dunkin. It's really special to go into a national chain and be treated like I'm walking into my local coffee shop. The food and drinks are always great and super fresh. My elderly mom goes in almost every day, and she's treated beautifully and with great respect every time, which is something you don't see all the time in our culture, and something I hugely appreciate. The manager, Dimitri, seems to pretty much always be there, and he obviously takes great pride in the store and in the performance of his staff.
Just close it down. Couldn’t get any worse . Everyone with their hoodies on, take the trash out, don’t wash their hands and go straight to grab your donut
