I love the Dunford wheat bread, until recently. Something has changed, I don’t know exactly what, but it’s not good. Please change back to the old recipe, it really was much better!
I love Dunford donutts sooo much, when I see them in the store, I go weak in the knees! They are just the best donutts in the world!! And they are very nice people. I wished they made King's cake! I do recommend!
The Best Thing I Ever Ate – The Chocolate Cake Donut with Chocolate Icing (i.e., the "Dunford Donut" as we used to call them) is the most heavenly bite you can ever take. In the 1970's, working in SLC, they were a favorite at break time and I have never forgotten them, even though I am now retired. I live in Idaho and just may make a pilgrimage to re-experience the unique chocolate taste and texture of the "Dunford Donut"! Please do not retire this tasty wonder! I was gratified to see other lovers of this yum!!
GREAT Bakery!! – Very nice bakery. They have the best chocolate cake donuts! All their donuts are yummy, but the chocolate ones..... wow! You get hooked from the first bite! Their bread is wonderful too. They normally have it on special on Mondays. They have a lot of goodies to buy in their store too.
Crappy!! – I asked for one little donation to help out a small event and they said 'no', not really into the companies that do not do community service!!!!!
mmmmmm.....chocolate donuts!!! – The chocolate cake donuts are so heavenly I wish I could just come to Utah to have one when ever I felt like! I grew up having these donuts and dang I didn't know how luck I was to have something so yummy till I couldn't find anything like them!!!
From a donut fiend I'm a very picky donut lover. I have one or two favorites from a lot of different bakeries. If I like a certain type of donut at a certain bakery, then I'm not going to be getting that kind at a different bakery... See? I'm picky.But I have to say that Dunford's Chocolate Icing Chocolate Cake donut is my all time favorite. Do You Love Chocolate?? – There is no other donut out there that can even come close to the heavenly flavor of a Dunford chocolate frosted chocolate donut!
