Beautiful area but seems to be a popular place for Albertards. Don't stay here if you are looking for the peace and quiet of nature. You'll be kept up til sunrise with loud computer "music", screaming adult children and the revving of dirt bikes or broke back mountain Dodge trucks.
Do not even attempt this road without a 4x4 / high clearance vehicle. About halfway in it gets pretty rough and there is absolutely no way to turn around. Giving 2 stars to draw attention to this, July 2025
Beautiful lake! We Boondock camped Lots of sand dunes. Was Smokey when we were there from wildfires. Beautiful area just as pictured
