Do not use! New ACs go down in three years, and the repairs that are under warranty, go out the next week.
I would give 5 stars for the technicians, but overall, only 3 due to the office help (Linda) was very condescending and unpleasant each time I had to talk to her. I was originally told that I needed a compressor (on an almost 5 year old system) and a TXV. A verbal labor quote was provided, after which I contacted several other companies recommended by friends and discovered it was within reason of what they would charge. I’ve been using Dunedin Refrigeration for years and pleasantly surprised each time they would maintenance my unit and tell me everything is great (even though my unit is old), and charge me a very fair service fee. When it came time to replace my unit, they were comparable to others and in most cases less. During install there was a slight issue with the board sent yet install team stayed late and were determined to get it to work. It was something wrong with that board. I woke up on Wednesday morning to a blank thermostat and with one call to Dunedin Refrigeration it was fixed and cool again by that afternoon. Zack came and fixed it, replaced our air filter and even helped me put my Christmas decorations back up into the attic. I was so grateful for his help and fixing my AC so quickly and efficiently.
Over the years, I have purchased four complete heat pump units from Dunedin Refrigeration. They are by far the best I've dealt with. Very professional, very knowledgeable, and walks you through all scenarios. If you're looking for a new AC unit, these are the people to work with.
