Don't Get Ripped Off – I took my car to dune buggy supply for a simple tune up. I was quoted a price of 200-300 dollars. I dropped my car off and told Bill to call me if it was going to be over $300.00. He called me the next day and said that the tune up was done and it was 420.00. I never received a call and now I was charged 120.00 extra. I picked up my car and paid the 420.00 I did make it 10 miles before the car started to buck and jerk going down the highway. Avoid at all costs – I had the highest hopes for Dune Buggy Supply when I brought in my Porsche 914 for simple repairs in 2006. Over the next two years, my car spent more time there than in my garage. I never had a single repair that did not require additional work at a higher cost. I should have seen the light when, after Dune Buggy Supply rebuilt the engine of my car, I didn't make it half way home before the car died and needed to be towed back.
