doctors and staff are very good
doctors aren't as good as they should be
Dr Roya Dabestani is a great GP that I have been seeing for many years. She is supportive and caring and very competent in what she does. She gives a balanced view on treatment options and patiently explains the implications of each option without unnecessary medical jargon. Where necessary she has a network of competent specialists to leverage from if there is a requirement of particular expertise. She is long sighted in her care and takes the time to truly understand and empathise with my experience. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, I found my experience with a new GP to be judgmental and insensitive in tone. Though I dont think this was intentional at all, I would have expected more empathy and reassurance regarding the nature of my visit and left feeling belittled.
