I have bought a few cars from Hillbilly ****** over the years and so has my mom. People say he's rude in the reviews but he's not, he is someone gruff but not rude. If we ever had any noises or anything and we took the car back to have it looked at by him he had his mechanic check it out and we never had any trouble about that. He has VERY reasonable prices and we will continue shopping for cars with him for as long as he is in business selling them!
We were out looking for a cheap car and saw one possible on this lot. when we asked about the cars the guy was truly honest in the matter that he said that he buys from auctions and sets them out there and doesn't check them out for sale. then went on a rant about how it would cost him too much money to check up on each car he is selling to the public. Buyer beware they are a cash lot and offer no financing with little to no knowledge of the vehicle they are selling.
Got 3 cars and going to get my 4 car there only place to buy. My granddaughter and grandson loves the cars. My daughter has drove hers for years. No problems with our cars.
I think **************** is providing an important service for the community. He provides affordable unsexy cars to those of us that need something relatively reliable for cheap. I have bought 3 cars from him in the last few years, and while all were over 100k and sold as is with check engine lights on, they have all been good runners. One that I bought with almost 300k miles on it 3 years ago, is still on the road.
I purchased a 2010 ******* MKT from this car lot. I was told that if there was any issues to bring the car back to him and his mechanic so that he could take a look. A day after buying the car there was a terrible noise when I was going approx 15mph down the road. The owner's son, who I got the car from, told me to take it to his mechanic. I did so.
