The repair man that came to check my unit was very informative beside when it came to pricing. They gouged me on price per pound of R-22. $83 per pound is ridiculous. I can purchase a new 10 lb tank for $175 on eBay. Then when I called to question, the young lady said it was a product that was going extinct...that’s why they charged that price. It’s becoming illegal, there is no shortage. $500 for an hour of time to just recharge my system with 4lbs of R-22.
I was so happy with the service I received. Highly recommend them.
I have used Duncan Mechanical Services several times now and have had excellent experiences every single time. They are fast, courteous, and do not charge an arm and a leg. I appreciate that they talk me through whatever is broken and let me know how much to expect to spend on each part. I'm never surprised by a different outrageous price at the end of the service call. I highly recommend them. 5 stars all the way!!!
