Dr. Duncan replaced my hip a few years ago, the surgery went fine but my last visit he told me if he was the surgeon he never would have replaced it. I can’t get over the mental anguish him saying that has caused, I totally trusted him as friends spoke highly of him. Please, please get a second opinion, I didn’t.
After falling and breaking his arm, my friend visited Dr. Ian Duncan after being prescribed Codeine. My friend requested a Valium prescription (a non-narcotic medication) to treat the frequent seizures causing him to fall. My friend outlined how Codeine is not appropriate for seizure patients. Dr. Duncan told my friend that in 16 years he has never prescribed Valium to a patient. However, he confirmed that he had prescribed Oxycontin and Codeine to many patients. He fix my knee fracture really good. No problem. He is a great Doctor if I need him again I will 100% go to see him.
What happened to dr.duncan? He used to be friendly and explain procedures.....he would not give my son the time at appt. Wouldn't explain anything after hip surgery ..my son has been in a lot of pain...we won't be going back in.what a disappointment
