Kudos to the Denver Dumb Friends League. We had decided last week that we could no longer keep a kitty we got from a friend because of severe litter box issues. Most of the rescues I spoke to considered her not to be adoptable for that reason. Denver Dumb Friends League accepted her right away. They actually have a program to retrain cats with litter box issues and thought they would have no trouble placing her (after training) despite that and some other special needs. My family and I have used DDFL since I was young to find our fur babies and I am greatful that you all there to help the homeless pets find loving caring homes. I recommend you to everyone I know. Even the buddy centers.
Couple of years ago I found my Cooper.We looked and looked again. Sara and I found him in the area of sick kit Kat.He had a cold and a tooth pulled. They brought him to our room for a visit. He came out of the carrier and he flopped on the floor with his belly showing.That was it,my kind of cat. He's 10 years old. we love him

My dog, Payton, was given to me by the DFL when he was nine months old. Now he is 11 years old. I will forever be grateful!
We've been lucky enough to add to our family from DDFL. Couldn't think of a better place to save a baby.
Always adopt from places like the Denver Dumb Friends League instead of from other sources that could be associated with puppy mills.
i adopted my first dog ever from DFL a few weeks ago and it was a very positive experience. The first few days were tough, I wasn't sure dog owning was for me. But I am so in love with Rufio, I can't stand it!
