Adopted my sweet kitty here! First time adopting a pet and I was really impressed- they made sure the cat I found was the best fit for me as well as her. Even had a behavioral coach that came and talked to me about how to best introduce her to my home/my roommates dog. Really positive experience!
Surrendered my two cats because my fiancé is highly allergic. I felt secure knowing my babies are in a good place.
In June of 2013, we adopted a dog for DDFL. We went in asking for the calmest dog they had because my 6 yr old was scared of dogs. The adoption lady suggested one. We met her and fell in love. She is the sweetest dog ever. Fortunately, she had been rescued from a sad abusive/neglectful situation. We got her some training and her personality has blossomed. She's comfortable and happy here. We love her SO much!
We adopted both of our huskies there. Rocky back in 2012 and Gunther just a few weeks ago. They were so wonderful and helpful. We try to go once a week or so to pick up something for the boys from the store.
I have adopted both of my dogs from here. Their adoption process is great and you can really spend the time you need to make sure it's a good fit for all concerned. Now my two little dogs are very happy to have each other and a forever home. Thank you to your organization and staff for all that you do to help CO animals in need.
