Truly enjoyed speaking to the staff at the Dumb Friends League and seeing the high level of care and compassion for the animals in residence. I adopted my cat, Argo, from the Buddy Center location in Castle Rock even though I had not planned on adopting that day, Argo chose me!
Wonderful staff who really want to do best by the animals in their care. Over the years we have adopted 3 dogs, Sherlock (RIP, formally Cyclops), Elsa (ex Pixie) and Gizmo (ex Ewok) Also 2 cats Obie Wan (ex Camry) and just last month Hemingway (ex Greg) They are all wonderful additions to our family and Hemingway to our bookstore.
In case you’re looking for a Thanksgiving cause, I highly recommend donating to the Dumb Friends League. Not only do they help our furry friends, they’re also one of the most highly rated charities out there with regards to admin costs, marketing, and so forth. Almost all of it goes to the pups and horses. And yes, cats too if you’re into that sort of thing😁 Happy Thanksgiving from Adin, Molly, and Duncan!!

My boyfriend and I adopted two kittens. They were friendly and the adoption process was super easy. The facility was clean and overall a wonderful place. However, both of our kittens fell sick with a cold and I called twice and they were both pretty unwilling to do much with them after. They just told us to call the outside vet for their return for care.
