when i called about a vehicle i asked if there was anything mechanically wrong with it, they said no. i get there, turn the key and the engine has a very loud knock. when i told him about it he acted surprised and said "oh really?? sorry we just got that into inventory a couple days ago." there is an ad from them on craigslist for the same vehicle that is over a week old listed as "excellent condition" a loud knock in an engine isnt something you miss.. dont trust them.
I have had an overall horrible and agonizing experience with Dumarks auto. The sales man there is Ryan, and although he appears professional and charismatic, he is a slick and deceptive businessman. Long story short, my wife and I wanted a means of transportation, and came across a reasonably priced 2006 VW Passat. Up front, the car seemed in good shape and reliable. DISAPPOINTED!!!! We drove 2 1/2 hours down to see a car on Saturday morning. We had spoken to the salesman the evening before and confirmed. We got there at 10:45- am--and he chose THAT time to let us know that it was sold....BUT he did have something else we might be interested in??! Seriously? Could he have been any more awful? Would never recommend a person who does that to anyone!(I guess he thought calling us before we got all the way down there wasn't necessary!) Don Burcar Duluth MN
