In the past 10 years I have had 2 specialist and 3 primary doctors run away from DULY, it used to be DuPage medical center. When I call to find out what is going on the person (not a doctor) on the ephone has access to my medical history, why? What happened to HIPA? Do not go here. Doctors are running away from DULY.
I don't typically leave bad reviews. Besides, this review is of Dr Hillary Norton, who is no longer with the practice. However, as someone who also works in the healthcare industry, I want others to do their homework (as I doubted myself in having done mine), and be a strong advocate for their care. I came to see Dr Norton with a few issues, one of which was hot flashes due to "that age." Dr Norton proceeded to prescribe me Estradiol cream, which is a hormone replacement therapy. Very unprofessional. Made an appointment the day before, told them my insurance. Scheduled me for 2:40pm. I took off of work to come to the appointment. I get there and am told they don’t accept my insurance. Missed work and didn’t see a doctor because of this. Was told “I’m sorry they should of told you that over that phone”
My wife and I went here for our daughters two year exam and we’re coldly told they don’t accept our insurance. we only came to this location because they closed their other one. How does a company on its last legs have any room to turn people away? Dr. Williams is a great doctor. It sucks shes under this sham of a company.
