OVERCHARGE FOR SERVICE – REQUESTED TO HAVE A GAS LEAK CHECK AND WAS TOLD THE FEE WOULD BE $85. THE SERVICE MAN CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND DID A 15 MINUTE CHECK. FOUND THE LEAK WAS OUTSIDE ON GAS COMPANY EQUIPMENT. WHEN WE RECEIVED THE BILL THEY CHARGED $85 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC AND $96.80 FOR A "LEAK SEARCH FOR GAS SMELL." WHEN I CALLED TO ASK WHY WE WERE CHARGED TWICE I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT IT IS $85 FOR THE TRUCK TO COME OUT AND $96.80 FOR THE SEARCH. SO FOR LESS THAN A HALF HOUR AT OUR HOUSE WE WERE CHARGED $181 AND THEY DID NOT FIX ANYTHING.
