Tonight was interesting. Two stars because the service has improved which I'm happy about, however the food was off tonight, my favorite dish was very mediocre at best, just tasted off and nowhere near the quality it usually is, and a cockroach crawled across our table, and maybe 15 minutes later one crawled across the table next to ours. I know we're outside but that seems excessive.
Giving 5 stars because it was a holiday, but total time was just iver 2.5hrs. Food was great, not all tables looked staffed, tons of boat and car parking. If the lot gets full, there's free street parking or free valet. Tons of land and sea options, tons of covered patio seating, some ppl brought their dogs.
This place is absolutely amazing from ambiance to the views and music. The food was phenomenal. 4 star food for a great price. Will definitely be back.
Food was great we had 14 people with us in the all enjoyed their food drinks with well prepared and happy hour that goes on there as well. This is the bottom portion of Hula Bay and you really enjoy yourself the music was great. They have a great gluten-free menu as well and their Cuban sandwiches probably could go up against anybody's. Get out there and have a great time
I have been going here since I moved to Tampa in 2018. I always love to go to Dukes vs upstairs at hula to be on the water. For some reason it is just hit or miss downstairs when it comes to service. I moved away a year ago from Tampa and came to visit this weekend to see friends. There were a couple people I didn’t get to see yet so I suggested going to dukes for drinks and dinner.
