My husband and I ate there last night for the first time. I had Shepherd's Pie and he had Chicken Stir Fry. Both were excellent. The Tortilla Soup was awesome. The singer/guitar player Gary Musgrave was very enjoyable, and the service was great.
We enjoyed a few beers in the bar. The bar is well lit, there were enough TVs to watch the Tiger game and the MSU football game, and we could enjoy the music that was playing in the dining room. There was a great group of patrons enjoying each other in the bar, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. One of the owners even stopped by to chat. We haven't eaten there in a while, but we're going to make it a point to stop in soon for dinner. �
If you haven't stopped into Dukes of Highland, you are certainly missing out on some of the best food, service, and entertainment around. Their portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. I have tried several entrees on their menu and have not been disappointed at any time. Check it out and say Hi to Mike the owner and his staff. Awesome people!!
