Dr. Duke went above and beyond with my dog. I drove 2 hours to his clinic because of the overwhelming local recommendations. My older daucshund needed to be spayed and I am so glad I chose Duke Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Duke looked after my dog like a family member, taking extra precausions due to her age and explained the entire procedure. He checked on her every hour and even gave her a warm water bottle to lay on for comfort. I am very happy with my choice and will be bringing our puppy to him for her spay. My husbands cat was ran over by a box truck and we did not know it till he came out of hiding. When we found him it was midnight. He was the only vet that would see us that late, the cat would never have made it if he hadn't been seen that night. Dr. Duke got up that late and treated him. He saved our fur baby. We are forever grateful. We no longer use another vet. He also diagnosed my german shepherd with his illness. He is a good doctor with a big heart and compassion for animals. His prices are awesome. Rescued a boxer mix pup yesterday and he was in very bad shape. Dr Duke opened to his office on Sunday to see him and give him his vaccinations and gave him a complete check up. Nice to know he truly cares for your pets.
I am disappointed with Dr Duke. I went to him to spay my kitten. We talked on a few different occasions and each time I restated the date and time we agreed on for the appointment. On the day of, he 'forgot' we were coming because it wasn't written down, and it looked like he just woke up at 8am. Only a couple of days later and I called with a few concerns and left a voice mail and it's now close to 12 hours later and no call back. I took my kitten to a different vet to get looked at for infection.
