Notting like always hospital made me waste 6 hr in the ER to send me home with meds for that I would have rather went to Wake med they always tell you if they can or can’t help u they don’t even leave u in the waiting room
Please stop hiring people that don’t make patients feel safe.

I never thought I would say this about any part of Duke University Hospital but Duke Hospital Unit 2300 has to be the worst unit ever. It starts with the charge nurse down. The charge is the worst. Duke has saved my life 3 times but this time I wish I could give them a negative number if I could.
My brother is 6 days post op. I cannot get through their phone systems to talk to a Doctor about his post op symptoms. Every phone # given to me takes me to a scheduling system. I cannot even call the surgeons office directly or leave a message for a callback. The only option is a very long and expensive visit to the ER. This is why Healthcare costs are unmanageable. And this is the worst patient service I've ever experienced especially for post op issues
