Had to wait a whole month for a 20 minute triage call after getting a referral from my primary care doctor (you can only schedule an appointment with referrals from doctors in the Duke system). Call was cancelled last minute with no warning and now I had to wait a whole another month for another call. And then I’ll probably have to wait a couple more months to be able to see an actual psychiatrist. Provider canceled my appointment without any notification or my chart message regarding why or time of the cancellation.
Horrible
genuinely one of the most traumatizing interactions I've ever had with a medical professional. years later, I still think about it and have panic attacks. I hope the state shuts you down.
RE: Provider Marisa Smith: I'd have happily given her 10 stars; unil now. I had considered her a caring provider. One of the rare ones that allow their clients to participate in their own care, listens not hears, asks valuable & thought-provoking questions.
