Do not recommend this place at all!!! They don't seem to care to about their patients. Work staff does not seem to know what they are talking about. Had to go to a different orthopedic to get a second opinion.
The state of health care these days is really shown at duke ortho of raleigh. Ive had an issue with my ankles for a while now and all they ever want me to do is come in and get seen when its been the same issue. I waited over an hour past my appointment time just for a 5 minute appointment where they didnt tell me anything other than I needed an mri which was what was said at my last appointment. Excellent experience with this clinic. Staff was friendly and the wait times normal. Dr. Boachie is incredible. Very patient & a very good "bedside manner". He took the time to explain every aspect of my upcoming surgery. Excellent communicator.
Dr. Schweitzer is very arrogant, condescending, and judgmental. He had the worst attitude and bedside manner I’ve ever seen. As someone who has worked in a clinical role for the last ten years, I was very taken back. Definitely not a good first experience at Duke Ortho.
It's hard to compare medical clinics against another since I only have experience with Duke Orthopedics. I have had two procedures with Dr. Christopher Brown as surgeon and he is the best there is. The staff for Dr. Brown including Rebecca and Leigh are very skilled and provide excellent care. I have always had a timely response to messages and medication requests.
