Speaking from someone who works in healthcare. I was quite disgusted with the attitude of the MRI tech. She was not gentle and friendly with the conversation at all. Speaking over me when I spoke, not seeming to care at all about my concerns. Even upon being transferred directly to her department, I stated (Hi, I was transferred so you could help me with a question about my MRI results. She rudely responded, “(I don’t know who you are. Just back from having a breast mri. I was so nervous about it due to some other health issues. Julie the technician went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I madeit through the test. Yay Julie.
You need to call for an estimate beforehand. 3 times and record the call, they won't email it to you. They know they are lying. I was told last week $355. E-Check in this week $599. They will lie to you, then tell you they won't see you unless you pay. Do not trust anything they tell you, always get a second opinion, and if time permits find another provider. Your insurance company will give you inexpensive alternatives.
