The one-on-one support and the 8-week support group was excellent. Thank you so much for offering this service to the community.
It was a touching experience attending the Lights of Remembrance event at the Duke Homecare and Hospice where families and friends dedicate Luminaries to their departed with poignant and touching words. I've had multiple people who got Duke Hospice services. The staff are so very dedicated to helping the patients on their last journeys but also, their families for whom it can be a time of anguish. I've used the assigned social worker in this regard to help. It's a team approach and important to leverage the whole team. The medical staff know so much of how to provide comfort and manage pain. The idiocracy of all you lost sheep wearing that muzzle lets me know your lack of logic!! That mask is not preventing you from virus and if so how are you getting oxygen and isn’t all the carbon dioxide just sitting in muzzle and then you re-inhale that toxic gas. Smh in awe. Hosea 4:6
