Not happy with the customer service lady at desk act like she did not want me and my child to be seen or ask the dr if we could be seen she said 15 to 20 minute grace period we got there at 16 but had to ride the elevator up that put us at 20 minutes she waited until 21 minutes to ask and act like it was our fault we were late but the traffic was awful very disappointed and and dissatisfied I took off work early and I’m just at lost of words
I’ve visited several Duke Children’s locations across the Triangle over the past year with my daughter, who has special needs, and have generally had positive experiences—except at the cardiology department at this location. Unfortunately, the staff here is unwelcoming and, at times, downright unpleasant. From the front desk check-in to the checkout process, multiple team members seemed disinterested, unfriendly, and unhappy to be working with children. Dr. Gupta is one of the most patient, kindest doctors I have ever met. I only had one of my children scheduled, and I had to get my son seen to and unfortunately I had to schedule them on two separate days for different reasons. I came in, and they were able to see both of them so I didn’t have to come back another day. She addressed all my concerns with my children and even went above and beyond and explained the thyroid and how it works and also talked to both my children and encouraged them!
