I was referred recently to Duke City Urgent Care to have the wax covering my right ear drum removed. I experienced excruciating pain and blood coming out of my right ear. I requested a copy of Duke City's medical record. It was full of falsehoods. It said I tolerated the procedure well (I was screaming from the pain) and that there was no bleeding. Waiting days for my covid test and no call. I finally called them and was told they don’t call people anymore. Given a website to register and website says I have to wait another 24-48 hours after registered to get results!!!! If you want faster results (imperative for a virus like this) go somewhere else to get tested.

Due to the large surge in Covid testing right now, our staff are working around the clock to try and serve our community the best we can. We are calling ALL patients who test positive as soon as the results come in. For those who are negative - they need to use Quest to look at their results. I normally don’t have any issues at Duke City Urgent care, but the last time I went, I went for an eye infection and the Nurse Practitioner (Melissa) did not listen to me at all- she gave me a “prescription” for over the counter antihistamine and told me it would cure my eye infection. I was having SEVERE pain with light and In general and she thought that it was allergies? Such an amazing staff! and very thorough!!
The staff was so friendly! we came in ten minutes until 6 and they took my son in immediately with an open laceration from a dog bite. They were amazing and made a really difficult situation so much easier. highly recommend. Thank you so much for all you do ❤
Shout out to Duke City Urgent Care ! I made an appointment online where I was also able to fill out all the patient paperwork. After an awesome text reminder, I headed over for my appointment. A nurse in all the proper PPE greeted me outside to take my temperature and fill out my paperwork. The rest of my appointment took place in my car! Each step of a normal visit was done via phone call to get me to a doctor. The actual appointment with the doctor was via zoom.
