This was our first stop to eat in Buffalo, and it was the perfect choice. They're trying something new by serving 12" pies only... and at first I thought it was a little weird. But it allowed us to get multiple pizzas without over ordering!!! Awesome pizza, delicious wings, amazing staff. And to have the owner serve us our food was incredible too. It was an all around enjoyable experience and I will definitely be going back!!
Was quite disappointed. The wings were drenched in sauce lacking crunch. Not sure the hype
The Tavern Beef dinner is my FAVORITE. Check them out. I promise you won't be disappointed. <3
I'd recommend choosing another restaurant if you have a larger party. Two years in a row we've gone with a large group. This year we called ahead 2 hours prior to let them know we were coming and to make sure they were able to serve us. Both times, they seem ill-prepared to accommodate a larger party, food took over an hour to get, and with gratuity already tacked on the bill, the service was not like you'd expect.
We had the sampler done in med. Then other wings in parmesan garlic. Loved them all wish they were in the Syracuse area.
I was very disappointed with the primer ribs sliders.. I was expecting lil hamburger sliders and they were on hot dogs rolls. They don't make the sliders.. The rest of the food was great
Everything was on point here. The atmosphere, the staff, the food.... I tried the 'weck and wings' per the waitresses recommendation and it was excellent. The waitstaff was a bunch of NY hotties, and the clientele was mostly blue collar working people. They had a bunch of NFL helmets mounted on the the wall and I was happy to see the old school Denver Broncos 'D' helmet displayed. Only complaint is the logo: 'mild is medium, medium hot is hot, hot is very hot' I got the med hot..... should have gone 2 steps higher.....
Food great, seated 7 in 10 minutes but food took 50 minutes to arrive? Wings and a burger? Waitress was fine, cooks must be slow. Wasn't real busy. NO DUFF BEER?
