Due Mari is one of our favorite restaurants, went there yesterday for dinner and cocktails. We ordered the oysters....Perfect!!! And then when we went to order our favorite fried calamari with lemon crema the bar tender said that they changed the menu! Very sad!!! When something works why change it? The rest of the meal was still very tasty.
The ambiance & service was great, but i went for Easter brunch & was not wowed by any of our dishes - found them all to be on the bland side & not quite fresh enough. I really really wanted to like it too.
I like the restaurant and meals but beware when you pay with a credit card. I was overcharged, and even though it was a small amount, I disputed it. I tipped more than 20% and even if I left 10%, they have no right to charge more than what I wrote on the receipt! I’d have my reasons for tipping whatever amount I give. The Food was amazing and we had an amazing time. We did the four course meal and each dish was delicious.
