terrible service – I really wanted to shop local and after calling Duckworth's on metairie road, I am going to sell out and go to Firestone. The person who answered the phone treated me like I was wasting his time, and was unwilling to look up my car make in order to determine which tires to recommend. The last time I went to him for advice, he charged me $20 and would not accept a credit card. I agreed to send him a check in the mail. An excellent place for automotive needs. – I've done business with Jimmy Duckworth for over 35 years. I have no complaints. The Duckworths have always offered excelent products and professional, dependable service.
Good Service, Grouchy Owner – These guys do good work and have fair prices. Period. I've used them for years. I think the truth lies in between the two reviewer before me. First, I don't think you can get a accurate review from a family member of the business... What a place!!!! – This is by far the most amazing friendly family owned business that I have ever been to!! I love the Duckwoth family, and my Grandfather started this business. I think that whaever loser wrote the bad review on the front page is a total jurk and has probably never even been to Duckworth and Smith Tire Co. I highly reccomend going to this shop for any tire problems. Worst customer service/tire place EVER! – I had the worst experience here at Duckworth Tires located at 1009 Metairie Road. Avoid going to this place at all cost! I can honestly say this place delivered by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any industry. The owner/manager was so unbelievably rude and disrespectful to his customers, I was thoroughly disgusted and left the establishment. I would not recommend this tire place to my worst enemy!
