We wanted so badly to make Ducktown Dental our new dentist office. We have been here multiple times for routine, simple appointments. Every single time the appointments take longer than they should either because they don’t take you back for 15 minutes after your appointment should start or you sit waiting in the chair for 20 minutes for a dentist after your cleaning. Facility and staff are nice. My appointment time was honored. I had a painful experience with the hygienist. She was quite rough. I was also told I need two crowns right away because of “dark spots” on the X-ray that was assisted with AI. Dentist explained that the dark spots could indicate an issue near my fillings in those teeth, and she thought it would be better to do crowns instead of replacing the fillings and potentially causing more damage. Was excited to have a dentist office near me. The staff was friendly and informative. The x-rays, cleaning, extractions was good with no issues. Top dentures is what has stopped me from going back. Took several times trying and was thinking it was fully on where they was sending them to but near the last visit it is the impression. Came in for a cleaning and Meli as always was very thorough. I had noticed a scrap in the side of one tooth. It turned out to be a filling that had come out. I was ready to schedule a date to come in to have it fixed but Dr Roderick said she would do it that day. I came home with really clean teeth and a tooth that was no longer sensitive. The team never disappoints.
