100% need to come here such a nice vibe to hangout and the coffee is great. The service and workers at this shop are awesome too, very genuine and nice!
I vacationed in Duck about two weeks ago. I ended up going to Duck’s Cottage almost every single day. Their coconut cold brew was my favorite! My husband liked their signature iced Nutty Duck. Forewarning: hot espresso drinks will take longer. The space is cute, but a little too crowded to casually browse the books. If you want to buy a book, you should look as you wait in line and choose quick!
It looked cute from what I could see by the door. But the place is so small that it’s not accessible for disabled people using walkers or wheelchairs. 1/10 simply for the fact that it’s inaccessible. It’s 2026, this should not be an issue.
Hands down the best coffee in Duck. It’s an adorable little place with lots of books and charming gifts. I always enjoy stopping here when I’m vacationing in Duck. The coconut crunch flavored coffee is my favorite. You know it’s good when the line is long. They keep it moving though and everyone is friendly and welcoming.
Stopped into Duck's Cottage for an Iced Coffee and instantly understood why this place is such a local favorite. The coffee was delicious, the bookstore was charming, and the whole space has that relaxed Outer Banks vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. I loved wandering through the books and gifts while sipping my coffee. The Iced Mucky Duck was the perfect treat on a warm beach day. If you're in Duck, make time for a stop here. Great coffee, great books, and a cozy atmosphere that's hard to leave.
