Our family member is currently being cared for by all these lovely people. I was skeptical at first after reading some poor reviews, but I shouldn't have been. They are all incredibly informative on patients care in all aspects. I expect waits on buzzing for a caregiver, but this has very seldom happened, I understand some patients may need more urgent care at that moment. My mom was admitted to Arkansas Extended Care Hospital on the 4th floor of the Mercy Hospital almost a week ago. Every single member of the staff has been amazing! From her hospitalist, Dr. Anand, to her nurses and caretakers (Debbie, Cheryl, Noy, Ester, Martha, Paul to name just a few) - every single member has been kind, patient and attentive to her needs and condition. Not happy with the care at all!!! This place needs new staff!!! Snarky rude employees.
We had an awful experience here. We had one nice nurse and I can't remember her name(I think it started with an S). They were complaining they were short handed and that's why nothing was getting done. No answers were ever given and we had to ask repeatedly for things. The room was sweltering and nothing was ever done and they refused to let us move rooms. Not happy with how things went. The doctors were great though
Patients get ignored while the staff sits on their phones at the nurses desk. Management is never around and my father didn't have a bath for 8 days. I had to do it myself. Several of the nurses had bad attitudes. Steer clear of this "hospital"!!!
