I am filing this complaint due to a serious case of misrepresentation and lack of accountability by Dublin Volkswagen. We purchased a used **** Q3 from this dealership based on repeated confirmations from the salesperson, ******* Loventorn, that the vehicle included Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). This feature was a key factor in our decision to buy the car. However, shortly after the purchase, we were shocked to discover that the vehicle did not have ACC.When we brought this issue to the dealerships attention, ******* Lovento... read more

I took my 2018 VW Passat for 80k service, I mentioned the car waist gas on average 16mi/gal which it normally should be 29mil/gal. I took the car back and asked them to fix the problem, the shop is asking another $160 to check what causes the problem but I already paid for the service over $1400. I will never take my car to this dealership again they are not honest and I feel they are taking advantage of their customers.

Take negative reviews as absolute true. I purchased a car from them out of state. It has been a month and I still don't have the title in order to register the car in my state. They refuse to give me a temp tag as well. I have an expensive car sitting in my driveway that I can't drive. I'll be making my 1st payment before I get to drive the car. Reached out to find why it taking so long, and they informed me that they just requested from CA DMV for the title. It's been 4 weeks and their just now requesting the title. They wo... read more

Business response:

Im very sorry that you feel this way. It is standard practice for the dmv to release the title after a minimum of 4 weeks. One of the many reasons has to do with identity theft, fraud, and waiting for loans to fund and money to clear. Especially with a car being transferred out of state it does ad to the complexity. I can understand the frustration but unfortunately it is for your safety as well as ours. We also know the dmv isnt the fastest and we have no control on them sending the title to you once we have submitted every... read more

I purchased a vehicle from dublin Volkswagen. A few weeks later I noticed an oil leak. Long story short the drain plug is stuck in my oil pan and can't be removed. The fix is a new oil pan at $2200, and they won't cover the fix. They said I tampered with it. When all I did was try to do my maintenance. The plug was compromised when their service department did the initial oil change after trade in. They sold me a disposable vehicle.

My husband and I had a pretty bad experience during the purchasing process. I was offended by the sales person coming back from seeing my car and him making an inappropriate comment about it. They low balled our Corolla for the trade-in (lower than the Kelly blue book price range) and had to fight hard with them for a higher trade-in value. Instead of matching or giving us a better trade-in, they denied the trade-in offer printout that we got from VW Oakland. The sales person said it doesn't count because it's not an officia... read more

They were willing to give my mother a car loan, despite her sole income being from unemployment. They had me cosigning this loan, despite me not even being aware of the situation. They pressured her by tell her it needed it to be done by the end of the day or the car would be gone. Once aware of the situation, I decided that co-signing the loan would be a poor financial decision for my mother. They then called me and tried to guilt me into signing the loan.
