Shawn is very knowledgeable, especially on older cars. He quickly found the issue that my Acura dealer failed to diagnose for 2 days.
In Nov 2016, Dublin Auto Service replaced a water pump in my Duramax and everything went very well. Shawn worked with me on getting the repairs (and 2 preventative fixes for future concerns) done correctly.
10/19/16 Brake line on my 2005 Chevy PU rusted out. Called the Chevy dealer and about fell out of my chair at what they estimated. I looked online and found Shawn @ Dublin Auto Service. Glad I did. I am no different than the rest of you. Who is this guy ? Does he know what he is doing and does he do good work for a fair price? I called him up and he told me that the brake lines rust out all the time on Chevy PU which is the same thing the dealer told me and for around $500 to $550 he could fix them. A good mechanic is hard to find, this guy's a bit off the beaten path location is a tip. He listens, fixes what needs to be fixed, and does so for a quite reasonable charge. He fixed my 1999 F150 cream puff and I am quite happy overall. I will use him again.
A couple of weeks ago I discovered that my brake lights were out. My regular mechanic couldn't fit me in so I started looking for a mechanic close to work and that's how I came across this place on Google. Shawn determined that it needed a new switch. It was an inexpensive fix, but unfortunately the part was only available at the Hyundai deal across town.
