My gas was shut off to my brand new home without any notification from them. No notice in the mail or anything. I hadn’t realized gas was provided by DTE as opposed to my existing consumers account.
Shut off my gas with no notice after I moved into new home and can’t turn it back on for a week.
When Pierre H. the tech for DTE, came to my home to check for gas leaks and he seemed more interested in me than actually doing his job. He spent 40 minutes chatting me up and only (maybe) 10 minutes actually working. Pierre didn’t mark the location of the leaks like more experienced technicians have which caused delays on my contractor’s end. I was without heat and hot water for 2 days.
Called to report my Gas Utility was unbonded, and it's been four business days with no one having come out to re-bond it.
