Brian and TD both handled my repair professionally and promptly. They had to replace a logic board in my MacBook Pro. The replacement did have a problem but they promptly fixed that and paid for the return postage. Top quality guys and will use them for all my Mac needs.
My Macbook pro crashed earlier this year. A known graphics issue that is virtually impossible to fix without replacing the logic board. I was unable to afford the repair for most of the year after getting quotes of $600+ for the fix. I tapped upon DT&T through reading some forums. I was very impressed that they not only quoted me $325, half the price of what I thought AND they paid for shipping both ways. Macintosh Services DT&T DT&T services have provided me with outstanding, fair, honest, expert advice and repair since my initial dealings with them over 15 years ago, when they were located in Sunnyvale. Most recently my main boot drive "died" with my 'life' on it. Newest backup 6 months old. (I know!) Everyone else advised that the situation was hopeless. Data recovery @ $1500. up was not an option. Not recommended for a powerbook repair shop I brought in a powerbook to be fixed, but DT&T fixed only the surface problems but did not really diagnose what was wrong with it internally. So I had to bring it back several times and was charged so much more. Paid over $500 to repair the powerbook, which seems overkill - should have just bought a new powerbook. I only wish they had diagnosed it from the start and told me how much it would cost instead of charging me incrementally for all the extras. I really don't recommend this... read more
