Read any dsm rental lease very carefully before signing. According to Iowa state law landlords and apartment complexes have to give a 24 hour notice before entering any apartment unless for emergency, which is what dsm rental states in the first part of their lease. BUT in the second part of their lease here it states if you put in a work order they are allowed to come into your apartment at ANY time. Which, first of all, is extremely contradicting! Don’t live there unless you want to get sick from mold and have your money stolen!
This is the best apartment I've ever rented. Deb and I rented a three bedroom unit in their Vineyards ll complex. It was large, clean, and well maintained. The DSM Rentals staff is friendly and easy to work with, the maintenance crew do excellent work quickly, generally the same or the next day. My neighbors were quite, the grounds in very good shape. And the rent was reasonable. I highly recommend DSM Rentals. Bryan D.
