current staff, read the reviews and have experienced everything mentioned. it appears to be a case of medicaid fraud, neglect and abuse. there are a few incidents of racism I witnessed by management. certain staff openly violate consumers rights, verbally abuse, ignore state policies and upper management provides the cover-up. lots of veteran staff and management have personal relationship or are relatives. watch your paychecks.... company calls them errors on your behalf, but the pattern has shown me petty thieves. fake tra... read more

Run away from this so called business NOW – RUN away and NEVER work for this place. I worked there and got a call from Hancock Memorial hosiptal saying my young child was being seen and these people would NOT relieve me so i could go to be with my small child. I ended up calling the boss and telling her she had 5 mins or i was leaving the clients alone. I worked 60+ hours a week for this place and got NOTHING in return!!!!! look else where – I actually still work for this company. Its a sad situtation. Things are falling apart. I've been with this company for 12 years, and they keep getting themselves in trouble they've changed thier company names at least 3 times. I feel bad becuase I have developed relationships with so many people but it seems it is getting harder and harder everyday becuase of the deciscions that this company keeps making. Terrible experience – Unless you are super human and don't lead a life of your own, do not work here. From the direct care to the RDs, they are all ran down and under staffed. There seems like there is a lot of training and classes at first but once you are in the home, the training tends to cease and you are just asked to sign papers saying you were told this and that. Stay Away – Let me just warn you that if you decide to work for this company, you are in for a hell ride. First off, when you work with the consumers, its just great! Fantastic times. But when the management people come around everything sucks! DSA has no idea how to run a group home. Its so crazy. bad management – If you plan on working here be prepared to be pushed around. The Rd's are great and will work with you as well as most of your co-wokers. Most of the group homes are good to work in becuase of the clients, a couple group homes are not so fun. Just beware of TOP management. They NO NOTHING about working in a group home. Its trully sad becuase you, and your co-workers, and your RD and AD's know what your going through but corporate management don't get it. Especially a women named TONIA.
